Who runs LostSOS

LostSOS is a Japan-based service that helps international travelers recover items lost anywhere in Japan. We're based in Ginza, Tokyo, and a real case handler contacts the relevant stations, taxi companies, hotels and police lost-property offices in Japanese on your behalf.

Who operates LostSOS

LostSOS is run as a Japan-based business under the name LostSOS Concierge, based in Ginza, Tokyo. The person legally responsible, our registered address, phone and email are all published on our Specified Commercial Transactions (็‰นๅ•†ๆณ•) page.

What we do โ€” and what we're not

We contact the right offices in Japanese, follow the trail across them, and report back to you. We are not the police, a railway, an airline, or a hotel's official lost-property office. We reach those organizations on your behalf through their official inquiry channels.

Pricing & refunds

The Recovery Concierge fee is US$65, paid through Stripe. If our outreach confirms no location, no holder, and no matching official record for your item, your US$65 is refunded in full. See Trust & safety for the full refund conditions and how we differ from lost-and-found scams.

How to reach us
